Knife Sharpening

If you're like me, you never leave the house without a knife or multitool in your pocket. Using your EDC companion daily however, can dull even the most wear resistant steels over time. Whether you prefer a mirror polished finish, or a more utilitarian and aggressive "toothy" edge, we can sharpen it, clean it up and lubricate the pivot so it can get back in your pocket, have it cut the way you want and serve you reliably.

Restorations

Does it need a day at the spa? We'll pamper it for you.

Chips, rust and scratches all can be removed to restore the performance it promised when you first purchased your blade.

Refinishing

Chisels, Axes, Hatchets and even lawn mower blades, all take a beating over the years. Instead of buying a replacement, save your money and have us restore it to its former glory.

Scissor & Beauty Shear Sharpening

Beauty shears are expensive and need to preform well to make you a living and keep your clients happy.

Sending them back to the manufacturer to be maintained can often take weeks. We use the same expensive, specialized machines manufacturers do to ensure the proper geometry and cutting performance they delivered the day you first bought them and at a lower cost and much faster turn around times.

Garden Tool Sharpening

Pruning shears, loppers, spades and trowels need love too! We clean, sharpen and restore the beauty underneath all that dirt and rust so you can get back to doing the yardwork you love.

Laser Engraving & Logo Restoration

Add a personal touch to your tools and knives with our laser engraving services. Whether you want to engrave a name, restore an original logo, or incorporate your own unique design, you can enhance the aesthetic appeal of your items.

Convenient Sharpening Service Options

Sharp Shack Drop Box

Running errands and need to drop it off at the shop on your schedule? We have an electronic security drop box you can use at our shop!

Next to the box are our service order forms, just leave your name and number, push the "Open" button and deposit your items!

We'll text you when its ready and give you your individual security code to use that opens the box when you come to pick them up.

Ship Sharp

Don't live close by?

We help people all over the state and across the country everyday. We'll sharpen it, pack it up and ship it back to you using USPS priority mail. We send you an email when we have received your items, and when they are on their way back along with your tracking information.

Whether you need us for your staff at your business or in the driveway at home we can come to you to get the job done. We offer mobile service packages for both commercial and private party customers.

We don't nickel and dime. We use a straight-forward approach to pricing to keep things simple. Don't see your item listed? Not a problem - Visit our Contact Page to get in touch and ask if we can help. We routinely accommodate our customers with their specialized equipment.

Flat Rate Knife Sharpening

Any length or style. Chefs, butcher, cleaver, paring, bread knives & even machetes. Straight edge, serrated or combination.

(Price includes cleaning, degreasing, moderate rust removal and broken tip repairs)

Butcher Block Sharpening Bundle

Have a whole kitchen set that needs work? We'll even sharpen the kitchen shears and steak knives too - no limitations to number of pieces just as long as they belong to the set.

One knife doesn't match?

Don't sweat it, we'll throw it in.

**I will accommodate your specific requests, but reserve the right to turn down work if we feel it will not meet your expectations, turn out as perfectly as possible or exceed the capabilities of our expensive equipment. We operate in good faith and respect your property and will not risk damaging your items.

Hand Sharpening Pocket Knives

Our Specialty! It doesn't get any sharper than this.

We use industry leading resin-bonded diamond water stones to achieve a crisp, mirror polished edge by hand which completely avoids overheating the edge.

Stropped to a final 0.25 micron diamond paste on leather.

(Most knives take less than the full hour and I will round down if it takes 1 hr 15 min - if it takes 1/2 an hour, $15 is all you'll pay)

We don't take payment upfront; Once the work is completed you will receive an itemized bill upon pick-up. You may choose to pay cash, Venmo or PayPal.

If you choose to ship, we will send an email with the itemization with shipping cost for your review. Items ship once payment has been sent.

Mobile work orders only pay after the scope of work agreed upon has been completed to your satisfaction. No deposit necessary but reschedules or cancellations must be made 48 hours in advance to be considerate of other customer appointments.

20% of your selected mobile service charge will be incurred if reschedule or cancellation within 48 hours of start time.
